I am 50 years old and normally have mild tinnitus, however, today I woke up with very loud ringing in my right ear. Any ideas? I generally don’t have a problem with ear wax buildup.

Are you having hearing loss as well, or just tinnitus? Are you feeling dizzy or unsteady on your feet? If yes to any of those, see an ENT.
