Huh? I can’t hear you over the constant ringing.
The way it was explained to me is the ear transmits sound by little "hairs" in the cochlea. Damage to these "hairs" can cause the ringing. The damage can be a result of constant loud music.
Reputable mp3 players are tested to meet the requirements to not damage your hearing. They can not exceed a certain spl level with the included headphones. mp3 files are generally no different that other sounds, except the may contain less harmonics, and usually don’t have any content above 16kHz.
I agree with you, before i bought my ipod i had no ringing in my ears then i bought one and always had the music loud. Then after a few months i got the ringing or Tinnitus. I always regret buying that ipod and now i have to deal with this constant ringing in my ears.
I kind of agree, but ive never heard of that happening. Of course MP3s can be dangerous and harmful in many ways.
I do not have tinnitus. Sorry i dont know much about stuff like that
