The ringing or background noise in my ear has been going on for weeks.
Think it was caused by an ear infection. The sound is not too loud as i can only hear it in quiet environment. It sounds like an empty tape recorder being played, would this be tinnitus. I haven’t been to the doctors yet but just wanna know if this is tinnitus or not? And if so, will it be able to go away?

The doctors told me there is no cure for tinnitus and I would have to live with it! How can anyone live with these awful ringing noises in their ears? Is there some treatment available somewhere?

i want know is there any researches on tinnitus like aids,cancer. i just wonder why the don’t have a cure for this medical is just getting so advanced they<doctors>can replace a cut ed hand but they cant transplant ears why?
