It is like a loud heartbeat in my ear…it has been happening on and off for about 2 years now. I did a little searching online and it said it could be pulsatile tinnitus….has anyone else been diagnosed with this, and how does the doc check to see if that is what you have?
also…it is in my right ear,and if I press on my neck below my ear it stops…is that weird?
I know that one is a buzzing, while the other is a heartbeat. But, is one easier to cure than the other? Are there differences in the causes?
Sometimes it’s so bad I’ve looked around for someone rhythmically striking a metal pole, that’s what it sounded like. Maybe it is my heartbeat or blood pumping? Does anyone else have that happen? Sometimes it’s just weird scrapy-noises though. Also it’s not every time I exercise, but especially if I do so intensely. Any help would be great.
