It is like a loud heartbeat in my ear…it has been happening on and off for about 2 years now. I did a little searching online and it said it could be pulsatile tinnitus….has anyone else been diagnosed with this,and how does the doc check to see if that is what you have?

also…it is in my right ear,and if I press on my neck below my ear it stops…is that weird?

ok so i have tinnitus from ear infection and i never expose myself to loud noise without ear plugs
i have just got a new motorbike and noticed it is quite loud anyway the first day i went out and wore ear plugs my tinnitus got worse. it wore off after 2 days. then today i went out and didnt wear them suprise suprise no increase or anything. why do ear plugs do this to my ears? my moto wud be about 85 dbs of sound when revved.

Help! I have tinnitus in my right ear. I was just wondering, can other people hear your ear ringing or is it just you?

I am a teenager and I have constant tinnitus. I got it during an ear infection a year ago and it has not gone away. I took hearing tests, and the tests say my hearing is perfect, and I can hear eveything fine, but the ringing bothers me. I have no symptoms of any other disease, so I don’t know what to do.

Mp3’s are dangerous because they "play" with the different frecuencies of music and probably some of you already had developed tinnitus due to the use of your different mp3 players. Do you agree with this?? Do you have tinnitus??

I kind of have this high pitched screetching noise in my left ear. I suspect it’s Tinnitus, and I was wondering if it will go away. It just started happening again today for maybe a few hours… I’ve noticed the screeching noises previously but they all seemed to go away after a short amount of time. However, this one seems a bit stronger + has lasted longer. Will it be gone by tomorrow?

And if so, once the sinus infection is over, does the Tinnitus go back to normal? Or does it stay worsened?

I have tinnitus in the center of my head. I have been researching a lot and have heard that some people can actually rid themselves of tinnitus. I am curious if anyone here has done it or knows anyone that has. Would love to hear your story. Thanx!

I know what causes all of those things, I just want to know, what steps are being taken to eliminate the problem, also, if there’s a reliable organization I could donate money to to support their research for it.
I just wanna know, what’s being done to help restore our hearing, and stop tinnitus?
