I live with tinnitus pretty much 24/7. Sometimes noise, like white noise helps, or music playing lightly… And it helps to reduce salt and caffine in your diet (too much can cause tinnitus). Some medications may also cause tinnitus as some drugs are ototoxic.
For me, I just need to be around noise. If it’s quiet, the tinnitus acts up and drives me out of my mind.
